RHP Clayton Medlin, NKC Apartments Giants
The Giants only managed one run on three hits Wednesday in the second game of a doubleheader against American Division-leading Regal Plastic.
That was plenty for Medlin (Summit Christian/Rockhurst), who tossed his fifth complete game in five starts this season.
This one was an 11-strikeout no-hitter for his second shutout of the season.
Medlin, who walked two and hit two batters, has struck out at least 10 in four of his five starts and lowered his ERA to 1.44 this season.
