Fries (Salina [Kansas] South/KCKCC) silenced Regal Plastic’s bats in a 2-0 win Monday.
He allowed only two hits and didn’t walk anyone, while striking out seven in the complete-game effort.
Fries is 2-2 with a 2.24 ERA in five starts. He has struck out 27, walked 11 and allowed 19 hits in 25 innings this season.
