Ban Johnson Legends RF Mark Elliott
Elliott (Olathe South/KCKCC) went 3-for-7 in two games against the Milgram Mustangs.
All three hits were doubles as Elliott also piled up two RBIs and two runs scored.
He also was hit by a pitch in powering the Legends’ lineup to 6-4 and 7-0 wins in the BJCL semifinals.
Elliott’s leadoff double in the fourth inning of Game 1 keyed a game-tying rally as the Legends erased an early 4-2 deficit.
He doubled and scored the game-winning run in the first inning of Game 2 before adding a two-run double and scoring in the fourth inning, helping break the game open.
