Medlin (Summit Christian/Rockhurst) didn’t get the win, but that’s one of the perils of pitching.
There’s no doubt that Medlin deserved to win after posting the most dominant performance on the mound in the BJCL last week.
Medlin struck out 11 batters and allowed only three hits and a walk in seven shutout innings against the Creche Innovations Stars.
He left the game tied 0-0 before the Giants lost in the eighth.
